Acho stated in a movie on his Twitter account that he “reached out to producers” via his in-ear microphone. The host stated that just after his discussion with Matt, he (correctly) assumed there wouldn’t be a reconciliation among Matt and Rachael.

“What sort of reconciliation could we see,” Acho thought. He then recognized that Rachael apologized to the world, but not to the Black contestants she lived with that were being impacted by her steps. Acho sensed that Michelle was “broken” more than reaching out to Rachael but in no way hearing again from her.
