How John Travolta Misplaced $10 Million Betting on ‘Battlefield Earth’

John Travolta has starred in so many basic videos. Even so, the star of Saturday Night Fever, Grease, and many some others has experienced a wildly rocky job. Among his rough places was the release of Battlefield Earth in 2000. The film not only proved to be an infamous flop but also reportedly price tag Travolta $10 million. Here’s how that happened and how Battlefield Earth was a turning position in Travolta’s occupation.

John Travolta experienced a comeback in the mid-1990s

Right after his increase to primary-person status in the late 1970s, Travolta’s acting job has slowed by the 1990s. In 1993, for instance, his large role was starring in Glance Who’s Chatting Now. In this second sequel to Glimpse Who’s Conversing, stars Travolta and Kirstie Alley participate in next fiddle to a pair of conversing canine voiced by Danny DeVito and Diane Keaton. Even as opposed to its predecessors, the motion picture was a significant disappointment.
