Is the Launch of Prince’s Posthumous Albums a Betrayal?

Prince is a songs icon. There is no disputing that. But he led a controversial lifetime, producing selections no other artist would dare to. For instance, Prince kept a vault of unreleased songs in the basement of his home and recording complicated Paisley Park. When he died in 2016, he remaining all that tunes at the rear of, leaving it up to the executors of his estate to deal with it. They have to pay the charges somehow, so they’ve started to launch some of what is down there.

Having said that, numerous faithful Prince followers would say that this is likely versus the legend’s needs. Perhaps he didn’t want anything to appear out of the vault. So are his posthumous albums a betrayal?
