‘Jaws’ Extras Recall Drinking Brandy and Mugging for the Camera – All for $2.50 an Hour

Extras from the groundbreaking 1975 horror movie Jaws recounted their ordeals capturing the movie, with lots of recalling some quite funny times from their viewpoint.

The movie, which was plagued with a sequence of foibles and mishaps, followed a monster shark as it stalked a quaint island city all through the peak of the summer months season. The film was shot on Martha’s Winery and producers employed a slew of locals to stand in as extras. But numerous islanders experienced speaking components. The roles of Mrs. Kintner and her son Alex had been each performed by island inhabitants.
