Norm ‘Monster Joke’ Was ‘so Stressful’ for Writers

The NBC comedy Cheers tailored to essential casting alterations around the several years. Just one consistent was Norm Peterson (George Wendt). Each individual time he entered the bar, the full bar would yell, “Norm!” Co-creator and director James Burrows stated just about every time Norm responded to the bartender was a problem for the writers, but writers Ken Levine and David Isaacs named the hardest Norm joke to write.
