The twisty, Hitchcock-esque motion picture (by way of Brian De Palma) is primarily based on the greatest-selling e book The Woman in the Window. But probably even stranger than the turns the ebook and film just take is the accurate story guiding the novel by Dan Mallory, creating less than the pseudonym A.J. Finn.
