Gabriela Barragan from Below Deck Sailing Yacht revealed that she is dating Wes O’Dell from Under Deck Time 9. She confirmed that they have been with each other for months and shared how they went from work buddies to boyfriend/girlfriend.
Gabriela and Wes fulfilled when she started doing work for him right after ‘Below Deck’
Barragan commenced performing on O’Dell’s Nightwind II sailing yacht shortly soon after Beneath Deck Period 9 wrapped. Supporters could see they had chemistry but the few saved their romance underneath wraps. Barragan shared specifics and pics on the Gangplank Report podcast airing Tuesday early morning. Host Adrienne Gang gave Showbiz Cheat Sheet an unique preview.
“Wes and I are dating,” Barragan claimed. “We’ve been dating for a few of months. And it was seriously sweet in St. Thomas they have on these bangle bracelets. It has like a minimal horseshoe on it or like a hook. And if it’s dealing with outward, it implies you’re open up. And if it’s going through the other way, it signifies that you are taken. So when he gave me the bracelet, he set it on me with the horseshoe this means shut. And I seemed at him like, ‘Oh!’ And he’s like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘Awww.’”
Wes is ‘patient and loving’ Gabriela claims
Barragan recounted the tough time she experienced on Beneath Deck Sailing Yacht, which helps make this romantic relationship with O’Dell even sweeter. “Going back to like bordering on your own with fantastic individuals, I never assume I’ve experienced a boyfriend very as sort and patient and loving as Wes,” Barragan reported.
“It’s new for me since clearly, you men see how chaotic I am and how extreme I am,” she continued. “So being in a standard, nutritious partnership, I’m like not comfortable in normalcy, I guess [laughs]. So he’s operating with me, and I couldn’t take pleasure in it much more. Not just about the things about the display, but advancing my occupation.”
She added, “He’s super powering me having my captain’s license. He’s training me every little thing he is familiar with and he’s tremendous experienced about sailing, it is crazy. And I hadn’t felt so supported by a spouse, so it is new for me. But I like it! And he’s incredibly hot. So scorching.”
Gabriela realized a ton about sailing from Wes
When Underneath Deck Sailing Yacht Season 3 debuted, Barragan explained to Showbiz Cheat Sheet she was learning a ton from O’Dell. “I now get the job done on a sailboat and I’m the initial mate on Wes’s boat,” she said. “He’s teaching me anything about sailing. And it’s difficult. I have been so drained. I really feel like these a wuss [laughs]. It is the actual physical labor of staying out in the solar and the salt air all day, each individual working day, learning a bunch.”
At the time she teased that she and O’Dell have been just good friends. “Wes and I get together so nicely, he is seriously amusing. We make every other snicker all day,” she explained.
On the podcast, in addition to sharing that she is in a romance with O’Dell, Barragan also goes into detail about what she really skilled on the boat and addressed the rumors of racism.
